I’M A CHILD OF GOD
As long as you keep your chin up high, choosing to see the good in everything under all circumstances, you will always discover a will to live life happily. I may not be an heiress to a rich father, but I have something greater, and that is being a daughter of someone so great that no one is found worthy enough to even clean his sandals. He, who lives up above the clouds in His glorious kingdom, at the right-hand side of His Father. He knows us even before we were formed in our mother's womb. His grace knows no boundaries, and his love is pure. I am an ordinary girl, but God has chosen me for something much bigger than one can imagine. I may not have trust in myself, but He believes in me. I may not have done things according to His will for my life yet he embraces me each time I fall and calls me His own. I have gone astray and tried being away from Him. However, His grace has covered me and His steadfast love has never ceased. I don't take pride in who I am. I'm not confident to call myself God's chosen. I do things that don't please Him and I have never-ending desires that please the flesh. I foolishly run after worldly things when I know I should be instead bowing in prayer before God. My God has never forsaken me. Despite all the wrongs I have done, and the wounds it has caused Him, Jesus has always been merciful to me. He has always protected me from the enemy. I have a reason to smile today, for my LORD gives me hope each new day, shows me the beauty of this world, and showers me with immense blessings. Though, sometimes, when life brings distress and makes me weary, knowing that God is always there to support me, brings tremendous joy and comfort to overcome all the weaknesses. I can keep moving forward. There may be difficult times, but I choose to see the good in everything by giving it unto the hands of God, for our life is too precious to be lived with sorrows. Therefore, I choose to live each day as God's chosen and I'm proud to be called as his daughter not because of who I am but because of who He is.
